Vacancy - Senior Accountant with Australian Public Practice experience The company: A vibrant and dynamic Financial Services firm based in Morley is expanding and looking to take on a qualified Accountant with Australian accountancy experience to assist with the Australian tax department. This firm has Financial Planning, Lending, Australian & Irish tax departments and has a reputation for providing valuable business advice and superior service. This is a great opportunity with long term career progression options for the right person. Reporting directly to a Partner, your duties will include: • Income tax returns • Company tax returns • Trust tax returns • Preparation of BAS Returns • Preparation of FBT Returns • Preparation of annual financial statements for companies & trusts • Preparation of annual taxable payment reports • Payroll preparation • Preparation of year end payroll reports for the ATO Requirements: • Australian qualified & trained Chartered Accountant / CPA • 3+ years post qualified Australian Public Practice experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Ability to work autonomously when required • Client focused with good relationship management skills • Experience in Accounting software Xero/MYOB desirable but not essential Please note that candidates must have permanent working rights for this position.
